Operations Manager

BOXX Technologies is Hiring.

BOXX  is looking for an Operations Manager located in Austin, TX. BOXX offers Benefits (Medical, Dental and Vision), 401-K Matching, Remote Work and Paid Time Off. 

Salary: 110K - 115K yr.

Position Summary:

 Ensures effective methods are in place to run at maximum productivity.  Supervision over Production, Procurement, Facility/Safety and Quality. Work to improve business processes, provide training and other team development exercises.

Experience:  

• Bachelors degree in Operational Management or other Business-related area required
• Masters degree desired but not required
• 8-10 years operational management experience, preferably in the areas of Production, Materials, Procurement, Facilities, Safety and Quality in a computer manufacturing or electronics assembly environment.

Skills and Abilities:

• Good judgment and decision-making skills
• Strong leadership and supervisory skills
• Ability to work with teams and coordinate with other departments
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multi-task
• Effective communication both verbally and in written form

Technical Knowledge:

• Comprehensive knowledge of quality assurance principles, methods, design, testing and implementation 
• Strong computer applications skills, using ERP, MRP preferably Intuitive, and Microsoft Office Suites.

Duties/Responsibilities: Essential Functions include the following and other duties may be assigned.

• Conduct office management tasks
• Prepare revise and submit reports, budgets and other documentation
• Communicate information to department
• Ensure safety regulations are adhered to
• Provide motivation to employees
• Oversee Production Department and assess that they are meeting customer satisfaction goals
• Perform training sessions as needed
• Implement quality management and regulatory compliance strategies

Physical Requirements:

Lifting, pulling, pushing up to 25 pounds or moving, assisting and/or helping lift items or awkward weights.
