Laundry Attendant

Job description - The laundry attendant will assure units are stocked with the best linen we have available. Your responsibilities will also include, but are not limited to, keeping up with dirty linen, folding the clean linen as it gets washed, knowing which detergents to use, and maintaining a safe and clean work environment.  The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a fast paced environment while resolving linen matters such as stains, wrinkles, and damages. The candidate in this position will be able to assist in Housekeeping duties when needed.

Day Shift - 9:30 am - 3:30 pm.

Hourly rate $15.00 - Full Time

Job responsibilities -

• Follow all company safety and security policies and procedures; report any maintenance problems/safety hazards
• Wash, dry, remove stains and wrinkles from linens
• Maintain a safe and organized work environment
• Maintain a sufficient supply of clean linens
• Perform other reasonable duties as requested by managers and supervisors

Requirements -

• Available to work a flexible schedule including weekends and some holidays.
• Be able to be on your feet for long period of time
• Be able to reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling,
• Involves heavy lifting at times.
