About the role

We are seeking a detailoriented, analytical, and selfmotivated Quality Assurance Analyst to support and strengthen quality systems across the organization. This role supports auditing, data collection, and compliance across programs and sites within a regulated community services environment.

As the Quality Assurance Analyst, you will work under the direction of the Director of Quality Assurance and collaborate with department leaders and operational teams by providing practical quality assurance (QA) tools, data insights, and evidence-informed recommendations to support continuous quality improvement. The Quality Assurance Analyst will conduct audits, analyze trends, identify organizational risks, and support accreditation and regulatory compliance activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assists with regular site and program audits to assess compliance with internal policies, Occupational Health & Safety (OHS) requirements, Community Living BC (CLBC) requirements, and CARF accreditation standards.
  • Plans and assists with audit activities, including document reviews, onsite observations, interviews, and focus groups, summarizes findings and identifies trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Designs, distributes, and analyzes qualitative and quantitative data collection tools, such as surveys, interview guides, and audit checklists.
  • Prepares clear, concise written reports and dashboards and presents key findings, trends, and recommendations to leadership.
  • Monitors compliance with accreditation, regulatory, and contractual requirements, including CARF, CLBC, OHS, and internal policy frameworks.
  • Supports accreditation and regulatory activities, including preparation for external reviews, monitoring action plans, and followup on identified gaps.
  • Assists with the development of QA tools, templates, and processes to support consistent auditing, documentation, and reporting across the organization.
  • Identifies systemic issues and organizational risks using a systemsthinking lens and supports improvement initiatives through datainformed recommendations.
  • Participates in internal and external meetings and committees as assigned.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Degree or diploma in Health, Social Sciences, Public Administration, or a related field, plus two (2) years of related experience in quality assurance, program evaluation, organizational improvement, or research within healthcare, social services, community support, or another regulated environment, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
  • Demonstrated experience with data collection and analysis, including qualitative and quantitative methods.
  • Experience assisting with internal audits, compliance reviews, and/or program evaluations, including synthesizing findings and reporting on trends and risks.
  • Stong proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, particularly Excel (data input and analysis) Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Valid BC Driver's License and access to a reliable personal vehicle for business purposes.

Preferred/Asset Qualifications

  • Experience with accreditation, Community Living BC (CLBC), Occupational Health & Safety (OHS), or in regulated humanservices environments.
  • Knowledge of quality assurance or continuous improvement frameworks (e.g., PlanDoStudyAct, CQI/QI, systems thinking) as applied to servicebased or peoplefocused organizations.
  • Experience working in community living, disability services, healthcare, or social services.
  • Familiarity with traumainformed and personcentered approaches.
  • Experience supporting compliance or quality improvement initiatives across multiple sites or programs.

Schedule: Monday to Friday 9:00 am to 5:00pm

Wages: CA$34 - $36 per hour

Location: Victoria, BC (In-person)
