THE OPPORTUNITY
We are currently inviting qualified candidates with approximately 3 to 4 years of experience who are interested in dealing with a variety of residential and builder real estate matters to join the Real Estate team in our Edmonton office. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, well-developed interpersonal skills, a strong work ethic, a willingness to learn, and a positive and professional attitude.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Liaise with Lawyers and other Legal Assistants in the firm regarding coordination of requests
- Ability to work within a fast-paced team, meeting tight deadlines
- Comfortable working with realtors, lawyers, and banks
- Coordinate and track deliveries of documents
- Diarize and track deadlines. Following up with Legal Assistants and Lawyers on tasks
- Draft and complete legal real estate documents required for both existing and new clients; including documents regarding mortgages, disbursements, titles, searches, and more
- Others duties as assigned

TECHNICAL ASSETS
- Must have working knowledge in MS Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams
- ACUMIN knowledge an asset
- Worldox or Net Documents knowledge an asset
- LawyerDoneDeal knowledge an asset
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- Be a graduate of an accredited legal assistant program
- 3 to 4 years of Real Estate experience would be an asset
