Server & Bartender

Rare Events is looking for friendly and outgoing individuals to join our team for the following event:

Great Outdoors Comedy Festival on July 18, 19 and 20 at Assiniboine Park (55 Pavilion Crescent)

We are currently hiring for a number of different positions, including:

• Food & Drink Runners (Servers)
• Bartenders
• Bar Assistants (BA's)
• Expeditors
• Hawkers

Shift Schedule

• July 18 shifts run from 3:30pm until 11:30pm
• July 19 shifts run from 4:00pm until 11:30pm
• July 20 shifts are either 11am to midnight OR 4:30pm to midnight

Shift times are approximate and may be subject to change.

• Most importantly - a paycheque. We pay a competitive wage of $15.80/hour, as well as, guaranteed $15/hour in gratuities. 

Requirements:

• Must be 18+ years of age.
• Must be available to work a shift on all 3 days of the event. 
• Must have a valid Smart Choices certificate, or be willing to get one prior to starting work. For more information on Smart Choices, click here. 
• Bartending and/or serving experience is an asset, but not required. We are looking for candidates with the right attitude and customer service experience.

On-site responsibilities will vary based on the position that candidates are hired for.
