Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled CNC Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up and operating CNC machines to produce precision parts and components. This role requires a strong understanding of machining processes, blueprint reading, and the ability to work with various materials. The CNC Operator will ensure that all operations are performed efficiently while adhering to safety standards and quality control measures.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC machines, including lathes and milling machines, to produce high-quality parts.
• Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine specifications and tolerances.
• Utilize SolidWorks for programming and design modifications as needed.
• Perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure optimal performance.
• Conduct quality checks using calipers and other measuring tools to verify dimensions of finished products.
• Collaborate with team members to implement Lean manufacturing principles for process improvements.
• Troubleshoot any issues that arise during the machining process, including basic welding tasks when necessary.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols.

Experience

• Proven experience as a CNC Operator or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
• Would require Fanuc, Fagor, or G code experience.
• Experience with rotoray shouldered API connections.
• Familiarity with high nickel stainless steel materials.
• Strong understanding of basic math skills for measurements and calculations.
• Experience operating forklifts is a plus.
• Knowledge of Lean manufacturing practices is advantageous.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints accurately is essential.
• Overhead crane experience.
