 What You’ll Do

  • Lead, coach, and mentor unionized casual CYCWs to deliver consistent, high-quality care
  • Responsible for in-person orientation for new casual CYCWs; creating and delivering all training and supporting CYCWs through their onboarding in partnership with HR
  • Support staff in applying policies, procedures, and CARE-aligned practices
  • Coach on relationship-building, documentation, and professional standards
  • Maintain a regular on-site presence in homes, providing hands-on mentoring and aiding Regional Managers in role modelling practice
  • Support accountability and positive outcomes by leading investigations and corrective actions for casual CYCWs, in collaboration with HR
  • Conduct regular check-ins and team meetings
  • Collaborate with Regional Managers and HR to support competency development

What You Bring

  • 2+ years of leadership or supervisory experience
  • Experience in child and youth care or a similar care environment
  • Strong coaching, communication, and relationship-building skills
  • Experience delivering orientation, training, or onboarding
  • Ability to adapt training to different learning styles
  • Trauma-informed, developmentally focused approach
  • Strong organization, time management, and written communication skills
  • Diploma or degree in a social services field (asset)
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to meet screening requirements
