Reporter, The Trillium

Operated by Village Media, The Trillium is your trusted source for insightful, in-depth coverage of politics and policy-making in Ontario. We're looking for a reporter with experience covering government and politics at any level, including municipal or school board. 

Who You Are

• Report quickly, clearly and accurately and are comfortable working in a fast-paced, team environment with multiple priorities and deadlines 

• Aren’t afraid to ask tough questions when required

• Are committed to fairness, accuracy and transparency, and have impeccable ethics

  
  

Qualifications:

• Degree or diploma in journalism, or related experience

• Superior language, writing and editing skills, with a thorough knowledge of CP Style

• Able to work a Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm schedule with weekends and evenings occasionally as required. 

  
  

The successful candidate must live in or be willing to relocate to Toronto and work out of our Queen’s Park office for an anticipated 12 to 18 month period.

Salary Range: $60,000 - $65,000
