Forma Steel creates steel roofing, siding, trim & custom panels in a variety of gauges, colors, and finishes. We manufacture our product in Fort Macleod, AB, just 25 minutes west of Lethbridge, AB.

We are currently looking to hire the following position in our Forma Steel facility.

Role: Roll Forming Forklift Operator 

Job Type: Full-time  

Shift: Day Shift

As a Forklift Operator You Will

• Operate forklift safely and follow all safety procedures and rules.
• Review work orders to ensure the correct coils are delivered to the appropriate areas.
• Support Manufacturing teams by preparing steel coils for use in fabrication machines.
• Complete any other work assigned by supervisor/lead hand.

Our Forklift Operators Have:

• At least 1 year of forklift experience in a manufacturing facility (Combi Lift is an asset).
• Safe work mindset and commitment to safety.
• Ability to interpret and accurately fill orders.
• Operate a computer and interact with customers picking up orders.
• Basic math skills and ability to read, write, and verbally communicate in English.
• Team mentality and ability to work well with others.
• Physical capability to perform their job safely (push, pull lift up to 50 pounds, stand for long periods of time).
• Capability of working in a manufacturing environment.
