Cleaner

Role: Reporting to the Facilities Manager, we are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented commercial cleaner to support the overall cleanliness of our facility.  The appearance of both the interior and exterior of our building reflects our organization, and we take pride in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment. The successful candidate will be thorough, proactive, and committed to high standards of cleanliness while ensuring all areas are consistently well-maintained and presentable.

Duties Include:

• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust floors and surfaces in offices, boardrooms, hallways, and common areas
• Clean and sanitize restrooms, including toilets, sinks, mirrors, and floors
• Empty trash and recycling bins and replace liners as needed
• Restock restroom and cleaning supplies, such as soap, paper towels, and toilet paper
• Clean windows, glass doors, and mirrors to maintain a tidy and professional appearance

Qualifications:

• Experience as a custodian, cleaner or janitor or in a similar role with a high school diploma
• Mandatory that this role take part in a criminal record check and controlled goods screening
• Must be self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision
• Must be able to lift up to approximately 50 lbs, and stand for long periods of time
• Possess skills in communication, attention to detail, and have the ability to perform physical tasks 
• The ability to work effectively with individuals and groups are required

Experience:

• 2 years experience preferred

Core Work hours:

• 6:30am-3:00pm Monday – Friday
• Open to flexibility around schedule based on the needs of the business
