Our CORPORATE HEAD OFFICE has an exciting opportunity for a CORPORATE TRAILER SALES COORDINATOR to join our team!

What You Will Do:

The Corporate Trailer Sales Coordinator is responsible for using sales data, competitive information and marketing targets to order inventory, analyze inventory demand, and execute plans that support sales, profitability, and customer service within FGI's supply chain. You will work with your team members to deliver a high-quality customer experience that exceeds customer expectations through the following tasks:

·         Manage all purchase orders for trailers and equipment, collect deposits for orders and close purchase orders as completed.

·         Review orders to ensure stock trailers and equipment specifications are standardized

·         Review the buying cycle for vendors and make recommendations on inventory and costs.

·         Manage supplier freight from the branches. Merge and stack trailer orders to minimize costs and select the proper carrier.

·         Plan and forecast trailer sales and inventory requirements for each branch location

·         Track sales activity from the sales team and support when needed

·         Research new product opportunities for new suppliers or trailer models 

·         Review inventory categories for gaps and opportunities.  Collaborate with sales team to ensure inventory requirements are met and       develop an action plan for obsolete or oversold stock

·         Manage all trailer and equipment information in Sales Force.

  •    Other duties as assigned 

What We Require:

·        High school diploma, GED or other high school equivalence certificate

·        3 years of experience or equivalent education in heavy equipment purchasing demand planning, inventory or supply chain management  preferred

·        Previous experience in equipment or trailers sales preferred

·        Previous experience with ERP systems an asset.

·        Previous experience with Salesforce an asset

·        Strong analytical skills

·        Excellent Customer Service skills – dedicated to exceeding expectations of internal and external customers.

·        Strong written and verbal skills – ability to write and speak succinctly with customers and colleagues.

·        Basic to proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (email, word, excel) and ability to learn in-house systems.
