Rubicon Organics’ mission is to grow the best cannabis on Earth and for the Earth and today we are doing just that out of our state-of-the art greenhouse facility located in Delta, B.C. We are growing and expanding quickly while on our journey as Canada’s leading house of premium brands.
We are expanding our operations with a 2nd facility and are looking for a dynamic and results-driven Recruiter to help us attract top talent and build strong teams across all functions. The Recruiter will be responsible for identifying, attracting, and hiring talented individuals to join us. In this role, you will collaborate closely with hiring managers and leadership teams to understand hiring needs and contribute to the overall people strategy.

Key Responsibilities:
Talent Sourcing & Acquisition:
Develop and execute innovative recruitment strategies to attract top-tier candidates for various positions across the company.
Utilize various sourcing methods to build a strong talent pipeline.
Conduct thorough screening of candidates, ensuring they meet the qualifications and cultural fit for Rubicon.
Manage the entire recruitment process from initial contact to offer acceptance and onboarding.
Collaboration & Stakeholder Management:
Partner with hiring managers to understand hiring needs and job specifications.
Provide training on hiring at Rubicon to all new hiring managers or newly promoted managers.
Provide guidance and support to hiring managers throughout the recruitment process to ensure a smooth and efficient experience.
Candidate Experience & Employer Branding:
Deliver an exceptional candidate experience from initial contact through to onboarding.
Contribute to the development and promotion of Rubicon Organics employer brand externally.
Leverage social media and other platforms to promote open roles and attract diverse, qualified talent.
Recruitment Metrics & Reporting:
Track key recruitment and people metrics.
Provide regular updates and insights to leadership on recruitment progress, challenges, and opportunities for improvement.
Continuously evaluate and refine the recruitment process for better efficiency and effectiveness
Qualifications:
3+ years of recruitment experience, ideally in fast-paced industries
Experience recruiting for diverse roles, from entry-level to senior leadership positions.
Familiarity with Canadian labour laws and recruitment best practices.
Strong understanding of the cannabis industry and the unique challenges of recruiting in this space is an asset.
Proven ability to build effective relationships with hiring managers and stakeholders.
A high level of energy, creativity, and enthusiasm to engage with candidates and hiring managers.
Exceptional communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and maintain high levels of organization with attention to details.
Proficient in using applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other recruitment tools.
Ability to think strategically and proactively identify talent needs.
