Journeyman rate $42- $45 plus

THE POSITION:

You are as handy with a laptop as you are with a wrench!!

·        A 3^rd-4^th year apprentice or JOURNEYMAN Service Technician.

·        Who likes working with diesel engines, electrical and hydraulics; and

·        You are passionate about repairing and diagnosing equipment!

·        Previous John Deere dealership experience is an asset but not a requirement.

·        Work on a variety of agricultural equipment tractors, combines and sprayers.

·        Perform routine maintenance and inspections to ensure equipment is running properly and safely.

·        Use diagnostic tools and software to identify issues and provide accurate repair solutions and quotes.

·        Maintain detailed records or services performed, parts used and time spent on each job.

·        Work closely with service/ parts department and management to ensure smooth operations.

Skills & Qualification

·        Agricultural Technician Apprenticeship (in progress) or fully ticketed Journey person.

·        Proficient in technology and software.

·        Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.

·        Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

·        Mechanical aptitude.

·        Problem solving skills.

·        Previous experience in mechanical repair and maintenance of agricultural or heavy equipment.

·        Strong interest in agriculture, turf equipment and outdoor power products.

·        Self-motivated and goal oriented with a positive attitude.

·       Valid driver's license with a clean abstract.
