Employment: Full Time (30+ hours per week)
Compensation: $25.00-30.00/hr with benefits, RRSP matching, and professional development

Street Culture Project is hiring a Human Resources and Recruitment Officer to support recruitment, onboarding, and employee lifecycle processes across the organization. This role is critical to ensuring our People & Culture operations are accurate, timely, and aligned with policy, compliance, and organizational standards..

What You’ll Do:

  • Coordinate the full recruitment process, including job postings, screening, interview coordination, and reference checks
  • Prepare employment offers, contracts, and onboarding documentation
  • Facilitate onboarding processes and ensure all pre-employment requirements are completed
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date personnel records within the HRIS (Payworks)
  • Process employee lifecycle changes including promotions, transfers, and status updates
  • Coordinate benefits and RRSP enrollments for eligible staff
  • Respond to employee inquiries related to employment, documentation, and benefits
  • Support offboarding processes, including exit interviews and file archiving
  • Assist managers with documentation related to employee relations and performance processes
  • Maintain recruitment tracking, HR documentation, and audit-ready personnel files
  • Support scheduling reviews and workforce coordination as required
What You Bring:
You are organized, detail-oriented, and reliable. You understand that accuracy, timelines, and consistency are critical in HR operations—and you take ownership of your work. You bring:

  • A diploma or degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 2–4 years of experience in HR administration, recruitment coordination, or office administration
  • Experience working with HRIS or payroll systems (Payworks experience is an asset)
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and data entry
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with managers and staff
  • Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion
  • Comfort working in structured, process-driven environments
Additional Requirements

  • Valid SK Driver’s License with clean abstract
  • Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector clearance
  • Comfort with SCP’s core approaches: Harm Reduction, Youth-Centred Care, Nurtured Heart, and Trauma-Informed Practice
