We haul and process used passenger, truck, industrial and agricultural tires. We are committed to preventing these end-of-life products from being disposed of in our landfills or littered on our natural landscapes. As a result of processing used tires, we have become a leading supplier of crumb rubber which can be transformed into many fantastic recycled products, such as road asphalt, playgrounds, and synthetic turf.

Responsibilities:
- Supervise a team of 5-6 dock employees per shift, tasked with unloading all inbound trucks and staging tires within the processing facility;
- Normal Shift is 10:00 am to 7:00 pm, or until all unloading activities have been completed, however this will change from time to time based on the needs of the business. Current working hours are 6:00 am to 2:30 PM. This plant operates 24/7.
- Co-ordinate inbound and out-bound shipments with plant operations;
- Follow-up to ensure that shipments are not delayed;
- Verify and complete required documentation and reports;
- Promote and administer a safe, healthy work environment for the work group; and
- Submit reports to management on inbound tire volumes and other data.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of two years supervisory experience in a warehouse industry is preferred;
- Experience in warehousing, licence to operate forklift an asset;
- This is a “hand on role” therefore the successful candidate must have the ability to lift and maneuver tires (up to 30 pounds);
- Safely walk and stand for extended periods of time;
- Must be able to walk, reach (including above your head), bend, climb, push, pull, twist, squat and kneel as necessary to perform the job duties;
- Ability to work under time pressures;
- Must be able to work outdoors for extended periods of time:
- Team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills; and
- Excellent computer skills using MS Office & Scale Manager software is an asset.
