Cashier-Full Time
Job Overview:
The Cashier/Counter will provide friendly, responsive service to create an exceptional dining experience for all guests by taking orders, making recommendations when appropriate, processing payments, and serving food or beverages to customers at the counter or table. Also, perform other duties in the areas of food and final order preparation including preparing beverages and arranging food items.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Promotes, works, and acts in a manner consistent with the mission of Ace and Cash Casino’s.
Serves food, beverages, or desserts to customers.
Prepares bills for food and accept payment or make a change.
Performs cleaning duties such as sweeping, mopping, and washing dishes, to keep equipment and facilities sanitary.
Balances receipts and payments in cash registers.
Wraps menu item such as sandwiches, hot entrees, and desserts for serving or for takeout.
Scrubs and polish counters, steam tables, and other equipment, and clean glasses, dishes, and fountain equipment.
Replenishes foods at serving stations.
Brews coffee and tea, and fill containers with requested beverages.
Attends all scheduled employee meetings and offers suggestions for improvement.
Coordinates with and assist fellow employees to meet guests’ needs and support the operation of the restaurant.
Fills-in for fellow employees where needed to ensure guest service standards and efficient operations.
Takes guests’ orders and write ordered items on tickets, giving ticket stubs to customers when needed to identify filled orders.
Orders items needed to replenish supplies.
Serves salads, vegetables, meat, breads, and cocktails, ladle soups and sauces, portion desserts, and fill beverage cups and glasses.
Sets up dining areas for meals and clear them following meals.
Delivers orders to kitchens and pick up and serve food when it is ready.
Adds relishes and garnishes to food orders, according to instructions.
Arranges reservations for patrons of dining establishments.
Other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience:
1-3 years’ experience in a hospitality environment is preferred.
Casino or resort experience preferred.
AGLC certifications including Proserve and Reel Facts.

Job Requirements:
Ready and willing to work a flexible schedule, including graveyards, weekends, and holidays. The hours of work will be based on operational needs.
Knowledge of AGLC Terms & Conditions and Operating Guidelines.
Knowledge and ability to clearly explain operating house rules to guests and employees.
Work Conditions and Physical Requirements:
Walk/stand – Must be able to walk/stand throughout much of the shift throughout all outlets of the Casino.
Talk/hear – must be able to detect, determine, identify, observe, inspect, and assess. This positions frequently communicates with guests and employees throughout the entirety of the shift. Must be able to exchange accurate information and professionalism in these situations.
Occasional kneeling, pushing, and pulling.
Occasional ascending or descending ladders, stairs, and ramps.
Frequent lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs.
Works in an indoor, fast-paced environment.
Advanced attention to detail.
Ability to work under pressure.
