Project Manager
About EMILI
EMILI is an industry-led non-profit that works collaboratively with producers, industry, investors, and innovators to grow a sustainable and economically resilient digital agriculture industry, guided by three strategic objectives: innovation, partnership, and engagement.
We are a team of about 15 people and operate in a remote-first environment, with access to offices in Winnipeg, Manitoba, as required. We offer competitive salaries and a comprehensive benefits package.
About the Position
This role is responsible for driving the successful delivery of EMILI’s new Innovation Farms Network project across Canada. You’ll coordinate activities, timelines, and resources to ensure project milestones are met, while working closely with internal teams and external partners in the agtech ecosystem. The Project Manager will oversee planning and execution, monitor progress, and ensure deliverables align with the network’s strategy, policies, and quality standards. You will track budgets, manage risks, and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
We’re looking for someone who loves building from the ground up—creating systems, processes, and standards where none exist. You’ll thrive here if you enjoy fast-paced iteration, are comfortable with some short-term uncertainty, and are energized by working toward a bold, long-term vision.
This role has no direct reports, but will be supported by a Project Coordinator.
This position is remote within Canada. Our offices are located in Winnipeg, Manitoba, and travel to the headquarters will be required approximately 2 times per year. In this role, overnight travel is expected approximately 15 nights per year.
