Hours: Weekdays after 3:30pm

The Opportunity
Reporting to the Facility Cleaning Supervisor/Manager, this position plays an essential role in ensuring that those who hold a plus membership at the YMCA enjoy a comfortable, clean, and positive experience while utilizing our facilities.
Responsibilities
- Ensure facility quality standards are met and maintained regarding cleanliness and safety.
- Maintain a clean and clutter-free environment within the Plus Member changerooms.
- Assist with laundry related duties, including collection of towels, loading and unloading of laundry machines, folding towels, and replenishing towels in the Plus Member locker rooms.
- Ensure proper availability of supplies, including paper towel, hand sanitizer, soap, etc.
- Foster a positive, comfortable environment for other staff, volunteers, members, participants, and visitors to the facility.
- Interact with all in a friendly and welcoming manner.
- Assist with restocking supplies for coffee machines in Plus Member changerooms.
- Report any known or predicted safety hazards.
- Promote other YMCA programs, services, and certifications during class(es) to help members engage in multiple forms of physical activity, community building, and begin their YMCA journey.
- Assist the staff with documenting any incidents or accidents, no matter how minor, and communicate these back to the Cleaning Supervisor/Manager on the same day.

- Strong work ethic and desire for cleanliness and tidiness.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Dedication to safety and quality.
- Able to work with minimal supervision.
