Cashier Team Member
Location: South Surrey – West Coast Gardens
Hours: 8:30am–5:00pm | 30–40 hours per week
Pay: $18/hr
Duration: March–June (possibility to continue into summer season)
About the Role:
Cashiers are the face of West Coast Gardens. You’ll welcome customers, process sales quickly and accurately, and keep the front area looking sharp. This is an active, customer-facing role where attention to detail and a friendly attitude go a long way.

Responsibilities:
Provide friendly, efficient checkout service for all customers
Operate the POS system for purchases, returns, and exchanges
Keep cash line stocked, clean, and organized
Restock and face impulse items and small goods at registers
Maintain product knowledge on plants and seasonal merchandise
Assist with daily opening and closing procedures as assigned
Support restocking, bagging, and carry-outs when needed
Qualifications:
Friendly, accurate, and confident with customers
Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated
Detail-oriented with good multitasking skills
Able to stand for long periods and lift up to 30 lbs
Comfortable working in a busy retail environment and warmer temps
Reliable transportation is recommended as the location is not accessible by bus
