Responsibilities for the Inside Sales Engineer

  • Position will be required to process all orders through Epicor ERP system.
  • ISE will be responsible for day-to-day decisions related to pricing and overall customer care within the company's established parameters.
  • ISE will coordinate and communicate regularly with outside salesperson to fully develop accounts within designated sales territory.
  • Interaction with customers on-site may be required at times.
  • ISE will assist customers with selection of products based on the scope of project needs through various applications, prepare quotations and follow-up on status.
  • ISE will need a comprehensive understanding of technical products that may include but are not limited to concepts of pressure and flow.
  • ISE will troubleshoot situations with customers to analysis and interpret any problems customers may encounter.

 Requirements for the Inside Sales Engineer

  • Attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work independently or with a team are a must for success in this role.
  • Results-driven personality a plus.
  • Strong communication skills whether written, verbal or others required especially using moderately complex terminology and concepts.
  • Bachelor's degree in technical field (electrical, engineering, etc.) or equivalent work experience is a bonus.  
  • Technical aptitude and strong mathematical ability required.

  The ideal candidate will have abilities to interface with customers to fully develop an understanding of customer needs and maintain open channels of communication with both internal and external partners to ensure all customer needs are met. Position is bound primarily to a standard office desk station with occasional travel to local territory during normal business hours.
