POSITION SUMMARY
Join TNDC as a Morooka Track Dump Driver and play a key role in supporting construction and mining operations on a project site in Northern British Columbia. In this position, you will safely and efficiently transport materials across the project site while contributing to a productive, safety-focused, and high-performing team environment.
Working on a 14 days on / 14 days off rotational schedule with 12-hour workdays, this role includes daily fly-in/fly-out travel to the worksite from camp. You will be part of a progressive and motivated team that values safety, teamwork, reliability, and operational excellence in every aspect of the job.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Reporting to the site supervisor, or designate, responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
· Conduct pre-trip/walk-around safety inspections and complete daily Field Level Hazard Assessments for all activities.
· Attend toolbox, safety and other meetings or discussions as required, participate in any other specified training.
· Prepare working area and adhere to all job safety requirements prior to starting work, always keeping work site safe and free of hazards.
· Maintain equipment in good operating condition, reporting and logging maintenance requirements or concerns.
· Adhere to project specifications and guidelines to maintain quality standards.
· Operate and control equipment safely in varying ground conditions.
· Communicates through various techniques including radio hand signals and eye contact.
· Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively.
· Maintain good housekeeping practices on equipment.
· Assist in general labour and other duties as required.
· Training will be conducted on site before the project start date.
· Loading and dumping materials.
· Smoothly operating machines:
o 1 – Cat Panther – Tracked Flat-deck
o 1 – Cat Panther Fuel & Tool Carrier
QUALIFICATIONS
- Valid driver’s license required and recent driver’s abstract.
- Proven commitment to safety, health and environmental standards
- Able to take direction, follow instructions, adapt to changing priorities and multi-task.
- Strong work ethic with an ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Reliable and dependable.
- Positive attitude with an attention to safety.
- Strong oral and written communication skills and able to use diagnostics.
- A team player who works respectfully and cooperatively with others.
Mentorship and Knowledge Sharing
Provide guidance, training, and mentorship to team
members, especially local Tahltan workers, by sharing technical skills, safety
practices, and industry knowledge in a respectful and culturally aware manner.

· Work is primarily outdoors in varying weather conditions in a very remote setting.
· Required to travel to and from site via daily helicopter transport.
· Required to stay in camp accommodations while on rotation.
