Community Outreach Worker, Mobile Mission
Are you ready to make an immediate impact in the lives of those most in need? We have a unique and urgent opportunity for individuals passionate about serving our community in the heart of downtown Eastside, Vancouver. As a dedicated member of our outreach team, you will take on the responsibility of providing essential support to individuals facing poverty, homelessness, and addiction. Your role will involve building trusting relationships, offering resources for shelter and rehabilitation, and facilitating access to critical services.
You will frequently deal with clients in crisis situations, brought about by diverse problems. There will be other staff nearby to assist as required.
This is a full-time, permanent position with a work schedule of 37.5 hours per week, from Tuesday to Saturday, 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM. The starting wage ranges from $26.26 to $28.70 per hour. For the complete job description, click here.
