Job Summary: 

The Logistics Supervisor owns the day-to-day operation of Entripy’s Oakville warehouse — from the moment product arrives at the dock to the moment it leaves for the client. You will lead a team of shippers and receivers, manage carrier relationships, enforce SOPs, and keep a time-sensitive, high-volume fulfillment floor running without disruption. This role requires someone who is organized, decisive, and thrives in an operational environment where every hour has a hard deadline.

Responsibilities:

Daily Operations & Scheduling

·        Own the daily operational rhythm including our pick ups from our vendors

·        Confirm overnight purchase orders are received and flagged before the morning rush

·        Coordinate same-day delivery staging, ensuring all orders are ready by 1:00 PM

·        Monitor Microsoft Teams for shipping inquiries

·        Manage recurring fulfillment programs

Inbound & Receiving

·        Oversee receipt of all incoming stock and supply POs

·        Prioritize stock within 24–48 hours of arrival and move to production lanes

·        Verify box and skid counts for all inbound product; escalate discrepancies

Carrier & Freight Management

·        Manage carrier relationships: Contact carrier for daily parcel volume

·        Compare LTL quotes for skid-or-larger shipments

·        Arrange backup courier coverage when standard options cannot meet deadlines

·        Coordinate with our drivers; provide sales with advance heads-up on outbound loads

Team Leadership & Rotation

·        Manage the weekly role rotation matrix to ensure cross-training and prevent burnout

·        Build and maintain a culture of efficiency, accountability, and continuous improvement on the warehouse floor

Systems & Compliance

·        Maintain accurate records in the Van Delivery Schedule and all tracking master sheets

·        Support the development and maintenance of SOPs for all warehouse workflows
 

Skills and Qualifications:

·        3–5 years of experience in a logistics, warehouse, or fulfillment supervisory role

·        Hands-on experience with an ERP system — Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central is a strong asset

·        Proven ability to manage carrier relationships and LTL freight quoting

·        Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple time-sensitive deadlines simultaneously

·        Experience leading and scheduling a warehouse team, including rotation and coverage planning

·        Proficient with Microsoft Teams, Excel, and general business software

·        Clear communicator — comfortable escalating issues quickly and concisely

·        Forklift certification is an asset
