Senior Accountant

We are looking for a Senior Accountant to join our team!

Perhaps you are a CPA student who just conquered the CFE, or maybe you have equivalent experience in public practice without a designation. We are looking for a strong team player who has solid experience as a preparer to join our Canadian and/or Cross border tax and accounting team. The firm also has advancement opportunities for the for the right candidate.

If you're the one we're looking for, you have the following experience:

• 2-3 years working in public practice (or more!)

• Preparation of Compilation engagement files and T2 Corporate tax returns – intermediate level files and above

• Understanding of corporate tax balances (CDA, RDTOH, GRIP etc.)

• Preparation of corporate or personal tax planning scenario calculations

• Preparation of Canadian personal tax returns – intermediate level files and above

Bonus Experience:

• Preparation of U.S. personal tax returns

• Preparation of Trust tax returns

• Preparation of Review Engagements with well documented work-paper files

• Financial statement preparation: preparing statements in accordance with the Accounting Standards for Private Enterprises (ASPE) including related notes disclosures
