What You’ll Do: 

  • Review and coordinate daily schedules for staff and services 
  • Anticipate needs and think 2–3 moves ahead
  • Respond calmly and effectively to last-minute changes (e.g., sick calls, event additions) 
  • Prepare and manage backup plans while executing the primary schedule 
  • Use scheduling tools like Google Docs, Sheets, Microsoft Word & Excel  
  • Communicate clearly with team members to ensure smooth operations

 

Who You Are: 

  • A big-picture planner who can manage moving parts and shifting priorities 
  • Comfortable making quick decisions with confidence and clarity 
  • Experienced in hospitality, event coordination, healthcare scheduling, or other operations-based roles 
  • Tech-savvy and detail-oriented 
  • Seeking a long-term career with stability, growth, and purpose

 

Qualifications: 

  • Post-secondary education diploma or degree in event management, hospitality, or related field 
  • 2+ years of experience scheduling, event planning, or healthcare coordinating is an asset 
  • Experience in the funeral industry is considered a strong asset
