We are looking for an Accountant to join our growing team. Consider applying for this incredible opportunity! 

The successful candidate will have duties such as but not limited to: 

• Reconciling sub-ledger to general ledger account balances. 
• Completing the monthly balance sheet, income statement and changes in financial position/budget variance analyses for multiple companies 
• Maintaining and reconciling fixed assets schedules. 
• Preparing revenue projections and forecasting expenditures. 
• Assisting with preparing and monitoring budgets.
• Creating a Standard Operating Procedure Manual for accounting policies, regulations, and reconciliation procedures. 
• Become super user on accounting systems, offer suggestions for improvement. 
• Assessing internal controls, including risk assessments and reviews of risk areas. 
• Investigating and resolving account discrepancies and issues of non-compliance 
• Preparing federal, provincial, and special tax returns. 

The ideal candidate will have: 

• CPA (or nearing completion). 
• 3+ years of accounting experience with the proven ability to support several departments within the Company. 
• Working knowledge of GAAP, tax laws, budgetary processes, and ERP implementation. 
• Strong organizational and analytical skills with an attention to detail. 
• Effective communication skills (oral, written and listening). 
• Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced work environment. 
• Proficiency with MS Office (especially Excel) and ERP systems 
• Experience in a leadership role which includes supervising, training, and managing entry-level staff. 
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
