General Greenhouse Laborers

West Coast Floral is looking for reliable and hardworking General Greenhouse Laborers to join our Greenhouse team starting January. No previous experience is required, although plant knowledge is considered an asset.

Job Duties

• Potting and planting plants and flowers
• Weeding and general crop maintenance 
• Lifting, carrying, moving plants, trays and materials
• Assisting with greenhouse production and maintenance 
• Performing general Greenhouse labor and other related duties as required

Requirements 

• No formal education or previous experience required 
• Plant knowledge is an asset
• English is an asset but not required
• Must be physically capable of repetitive bending, standing, lifting, and carrying throughout the workday
• Must be able to work in a greenhouse environment and outdoors in various weather conditions 
• Must be willing to work up to 10 hours per day, 6 days a week
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently and as part of a team
