Kinetic Safety is currently accepting applications from people in the Bonnyville area who are interested in beginning a career in the oil and gas industry.

We believe that people should have an opportunity to enter the industry even if they don’t already have years of experience. Our team supports new employees through hands-on training, mentorship, and guidance from experienced team members.

We’re looking for reliable, motivated people who are willing to work hard, learn, and contribute to a team focused on keeping people safe on industrial worksites.

Previous oil and gas or safety experience is not required. We are more interested in finding people with a strong work ethic, dependable attendance, a positive attitude, and a willingness to learn.

What You’ll Be Doing

Safety Watches support workers and crews on industrial sites by monitoring work activities, site conditions, and safety requirements.

Your duties may include:

• Watching and monitoring confined spaces and designated work areas
• Conducting atmospheric and gas testing
• Completing entry logs and required safety paperwork
• Assisting crews during maintenance activities, shutdowns, and projects
• Preparing, inspecting, and maintaining safety equipment

Schedule & Working Conditions

• Work is performed at industrial sites throughout the Bonnyville region and surrounding area.
• Work schedules are based on project and client requirements and can include daytime, nighttime, weekend, and holiday shifts. Shifts are generally 8–12 hours in length.
• This is a casual position, meaning hours are not guaranteed. However, project demand often creates consistent and regular work opportunities.
• Employees must be comfortable working outdoors in changing weather conditions.
• The position requires the ability to remain standing for extended periods, walk across uneven surfaces, use stairs and ladders, and lift equipment weighing up to 50 lbs.

Requirements

• Applicants must live in Bonnyville or be within reasonable daily commuting distance
• Must be able to work safely, responsibly, and follow established site procedures
• Must be able to meet the requirements of Kinetic Safety’s Drug and Alcohol Policy
• A valid driver’s licence is considered an asset

Before being assigned to site work, employees will require safety certifications such as H2S Alive, First Aid, Confined Space Entry and Monitor, and CSO. Successful applicants will be provided with guidance regarding the required training and certifications.

Wage: 

• $20/hr (plus overtime)
