If that sounds like you, let’s talk.

What You’ll Do:
This role is about connection, encouragement, and presence. You’ll be part of the team that youth can count on—whether they’re looking for resources, a safe place to land, or someone who believes in them.

You’ll:
  • Build safe, supportive, and respectful relationships with youth
  • Support with homework, resources, and everyday needs
  • Co-facilitate wellness groups, recreational activities, and discussions
  • Model healthy boundaries and provide mentorship that fosters belonging and growth
  • Work collaboratively with other mentors and program staff to create a positive environment
What You Bring:
We’re looking for someone who can show up with compassion, consistency, and curiosity.

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary certificate/degree in youth work, social sciences, or education is an asset
  • Experience in youth work, mentorship, or education (paid or volunteer) is an asset
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to build trust while maintaining professional boundaries

  • CPR/First Aid, ASIST, or Mental Health First Aid training (asset)
Additional Requirements
  • Valid SK Driver’s License with clean abstract
  • Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector clearance (or willingness to obtain)
  • Evening and weekend availability (2:00 p.m.–10:30 p.m)
