Drivers, Hop-On, Hop-Off Operations

Start Date: April/May 2026

Work Hours: Seasonal, Full-time + Part-time roles available. 10-12 hour shifts starting at 7:00am or 9:30am

Location:  Central Burnaby yard base, driving in Downtown Vancouver 

Wages:  $23.50 per hour + daily overtime = average earnings of $27-$28 per hour + pooled commission + guest gratuities + service incentives if targets met + 4% vacation pay

Extended health benefits offered for full time employed drivers – company pays 50% if you opt in

YOUR WORK WILL INCLUDE

• Driving a Double Decker tour bus on a fixed, scheduled route around Downtown Vancouver
• Driving safely and efficiently to keep on scheduled route timing
• Providing exceptional service for our guests 
• Performing daily pre- and post-trip inspections for bus safety, compliance, and cleanliness 
• Reporting any defects on the Vehicle Defect Card
• Communicating over the radio/phone effectively and professionally 
• Coordinating with Hop-On, Hop-Off Operations Supervisor and Street Sales team to ensure smooth operations, and guest safety and satisfaction
• Adapting quickly and efficiently to changing traffic patterns, street closures or detours
• Performing accurate credit transactions using point of sale systems
• Conducting visual checks on virtual tickets to ensure validity
• Being warm, friendly, and welcoming to all guests and team members 
• Handling guest queries and concerns professionally
• Promoting partner attractions and online reviews

WHAT WE WILL LIKE ABOUT YOU

• You possess a valid BC commercial drivers license: Class 1 OR Class 2 License with air brake endorsement, with a clean driver abstract
• You love driving and have at least 3 years of driving experience in Vancouver
• You are confident driving a bus in downtown Vancouver and are familiar with the streets
• You possess a professional attitude and appearance
• You have the flexibility to accommodate a changing schedule, available to work any day of the week, and an average shift length of 10-12 hours per day
• You are available to work a full-time schedule over the peak summer touring months
• You have working knowledge of standard radio 10-codes
• You have previous experience working in a guest service role 
• You are a quick learner 
• You have a professional attitude and appearance
• You can work well both independently with minimum direction, and as part of a team 
• You are fluent in English, written and oral. Ability to speak a second language is a bonus.
• You are legally entitled to work in Canada
