Service Manager

Sansom Equipment Limited is the leading distributor and service provider for pumps, generators, blowers, valves, VFDs and packaged engineered system for industrial and municipal applications across Eastern Canada.

We are currently looking for a personable, detail-oriented Service Manager to join our growing organization in the Mt. Pearl, NL branch office. In this position, you will provide excellent customer service experiences and maintain strong relations with customers, manufacturers, dealers, sales representatives and service team members. As such, you must be a positive, energetic leader who excels in working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Responsibilities: 

Ø    To oversee all services and workspaces in and out of the shop

Ø    Focus on growing service and aftermarket products by establishing an effective sales program

Ø  Delegate and direct service tasks; monitor the progress of all current and pending projects

Ø  Consistently deliver excellence in customer service with your superior knowledge, advice, and trouble shooting skills

Ø  Act as the highest source of information for all service, inventory, product-knowledge concerns and work process matters for both internal and external customers

Ø  Focus on maintaining strong partner relations with key manufacturers and dealers

Ø  Prioritize health and safety standards and a clean work environment

Ø  Monitor employee work and provide regular progress reports in order to improve employee satisfaction and efficiency

Ø  Follow and abide by all industry standards, regulations, and laws

Ø  Stay up to date on industry standards and any new innovations, materials, tools and/or processes that can benefit the company

Qualifications:

A dynamic leader with a proven track record in customer service and aftermarket sales

Strong computer proficiency with an ERP system, Microsoft products and inventory catalogs

Professional oral and written communication skills

Works well under pressure and manages stressful situations with ease

Organized, efficient, and results-driven

Previous experience with rotating equipment (pumps, generators, blowers, etc.) is desired

Technical diploma would be considered as asset
