403 -Travel Merchandising Representative – Garden Centres

Location: Regional travel to multiple garden centre locations as needed between NE, NW, SE and SW Calgary locations 

Job Type: Seasonal / Contract Mid April to mid June 

Schedule Options:

• Monday to Thursday
  or
• Friday, Saturday, and Sunday

Shift Availability: Between 6:30 AM and 9:00 PM based on route and store needs

About the Role

We are hiring a Travel Merchandising Representative to support garden centre locations by providing high-quality plant care and merchandising services. This role involves traveling to 1–3 locations per day as needed to complete tasks such as plant merchandising, watering, and rack breakdown.

This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who is dependable, efficient, physically capable, and comfortable working across multiple locations in a day.

Key Responsibilities

• Travel to assigned garden centre locations each day as scheduled
• Merchandise live goods to maintain attractive, organized, and shop-ready displays
• Water and care for plant material based on store and program standards
• Complete rack breakdowns and related physical setup or teardown tasks
• Maintain clean, safe, and organized work areas
• Follow instructions, schedules, and service expectations across multiple sites
• Represent the company professionally while working in retail environments

Schedule

Candidates must be available for one of the following schedule options:

• Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday
• Friday, Saturday, and Sunday

Shifts may be scheduled anytime between 6:30 AM and 9:00 PM, depending on business needs, travel routes, and store requirements.

Requirements

• Must have reliable personal transportation
• Must be able to travel to and between 1–3 locations per day
• Must be comfortable with a mobile, travel-based workday
• Must be dependable, punctual, and able to work independently
• Must be physically able to:
  • Bend
  • Reach
  • Push
  • Pull
  • Lift items up to 60 lbs daily
• Experience in merchandising, garden centres, retail, or plant care is an asset
• Strong time management and organization skills preferred
