Job Summary: Responsible for the maintenance of resident’s clothing and the repairing/designing of items such as draperies, curtains, linen and other articles as requested.

Qualifications:

·         Grade Twelve (12) required or equivalent

·         Home Economics course and/or previous experience an asset

·         Must demonstrate good written and oral communication skills

·         Previous institutional experience preferred

·         Ability to work well on their own

·         Ability to attend work on a regular and consistent basis

Salary Range: In accordance with current collective agreement between Ocean View Continuing Care Centre and C.U.P.E. Local 1245.

Schedule: Weekends / Days / Evenings / Holidays; May be changed as necessary to meet the operational requirements of the facility.
