Best Metals, an affiliate of John Ross & Sons Ltd. is the largest scrap metal recycling facility in Atlantic Canada and we are committed to exceeding our customer's expectations. We are currently seeking an energetic and safety minded driver and heavy equipment operator to join our team based in Fredericton, NB.
Do you have a minimum of 3 years driving experience with a class 1 or class 3 Driver's license? Clean Driver's abstract? Experience with heavy equipment? Come join our dynamic team today!
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Ensuring safety and security of cargo
- Hauling various scrap products
- Gather appropriate paperwork for deliveries
- Properly record hours and mileage in logbook
- Maintain cleanliness of vehicle
- Ensure deficiencies are noted and reported to management
- Safe operation of heavy equipment when needed
Qualifications and Skills:
- Must hold valid Class 1 License
- Clean Drivers Abstract
- Minimum 3 years driving experience
Hours of Work: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM.
