Industrial Team Lead

John Ross & Sons is currently seeking a Team Lead to join our team in Halifax!  As the largest scrap metal recycling facility in Atlantic Canada, we seek energetic and safety minded individuals to join our expanding team!

Primary Responsibilities:

• Ensure facilities equipment is running smoothly
• Troubleshooting equipment and doing small repairs
• Supervising junior staff when manager is busy
• Maintain clean work environment
• Thinking on your feet
• Working in a team environment
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications and Skills

• Minimum 2 years experience as a team lead/supervisor 
• Steel toed boots
• Ability to carry and lift up to 50lbs
• Ability to walk and stand for long periods of time
• Ability to climb ladders

Experience with mechanical components, electrical knowledge, and/or experience as a Millwright considered an asset

Hours of Work: Monday to Friday: 7am-5pm, Saturdays: 7am-12pm

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
