Sales Assistant

West Coast Floral is seeking an enthusiastic and organized individual to join our sales team. West Coast Floral is a family-run business with a strong team that prides itself on staying at the forefront of industry trends while providing a high level of customer service.

Our sales team works with a wide range of customers, from small florists and garden centres to some of the largest grocery retailers.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide customer service and general administrative support to the sales team
• Respond to customer emails and inquiries in a timely and professional manner
• Process orders and perform accurate data entry 
• Assist with customer accounts and order-related requests
• Maintain accurate sales and customer information
• Provide support to the Key Account Manager and sales team as required 
• Communicate with customers and internal departments to help ensure orders and requests are handled efficiently

Qualifications

• Previous experience in sales or customer service-related role
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills
• Experience with Microsoft Access is an asset
• Enjoys working in a team environment
• Strong customer service skills and a customer-first mentality
• Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
• Experience within the horticulture industry is an asset 

Education

• Diploma or bachelor's degree in business administration is preferred

Hours

• Full-time, 40 hours per week; Monday - Friday 8:00am - 4:30pm

Compensation

• $30 - $35 per hour, depending on experience
