Job Responsibilities
The Sales & Parts Coordinator assists with the administration and customer service requirements for the Sales and Parts Departments. This position helps at the Parts Counter as required and is responsible for the following:
- Greet customers entering the store and direct to the proper department
- Answer incoming calls on the sales main line
- Organize and maintain the showroom floor for both Sales and Parts
- Ensure accurate signage and current marketing tools are posted
- Review trucking information daily to confirm equipment arriving/leaving
- Prepare manuals and keys for inbound/outbound equipment
- Create an operator sales book once equipment is ready for sale
- Arrange rentals for customers and delivery if required
- Able to sell Honda/Stihl products and provide equipment demonstrations when required
- Other duties as assigned
Preferred Skills and Qualifications
- 2 years previous experience in a similar position with a high degree of product knowledge is preferred, but training can be provided for the right individual. The right mind set, customer service skills, and detail orientation is key to this role.
- Must be a team player with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and fellow co-workers
- Organization skills and attention to detail are required
- Knowledge of Turf equipment and previous sales/parts experience would be an asset
- Must possess strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient using computers and Microsoft Office software
- Able to work flexible and extended hours when needed.
