You are motivated and enthusiastic, eager to join our seasonal Ticket Sales internship program. This internship offers hands-on experience in ticket sales, managing inbound and outbound calls, and creating customized group ticket packages. You will play a key role in driving sales while learning about the sports and entertainment industry. This program aims to develop future leaders and build a pipeline for full-time roles within the ticket sales department.  This is a fall semester internship that will commence in late August and will conclude at the end of December 2025.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Be a Ticket Sales Superstar: You’ll hit the ground running by reaching out to potential clients through phone, email and other direct means. Every outreach is an opportunity to connect with new fans and bring them to our amazing events.
  • Seal the Deal: As part of our team, you’ll actively sell individual and group tickets, driving revenue and helping to fill the seats with passionate fans. Watch your hard work turn into packed arenas and unforgettable experiences!
  • Create Unforgettable Group Experiences: Help us craft custom group ticket packages that leave a lasting impression. Whether it’s a family reunion, a corporate outing, or a school event, you’ll be at the heart of creating memorable experiences for our customers.
  • Build Lasting Relationships: You’ll be the go-to contact for our clients, providing top-notch customer service, following up on leads, and ensuring every interaction leaves them excited about coming back for more.
  • Track Your Wins: Keep on top of your game by tracking your sales activity and updating our customer databases. You'll get the satisfaction of seeing your progress with every sale.
  • Get Creative with Promotions: Assist with marketing and promotional campaigns. From brainstorming fresh ideas to executing campaigns, you’ll play a key role in getting fans excited and engaged.


Qualifications:

  • Current student or recent graduate with a major in Business, Marketing, Sports Management, or related fields.
  • Strong interest in sales, particularly in the sports and entertainment industry.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a willingness to make outbound sales calls.
  • Self-motivated, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Detail-oriented and able to manage time effectively to meet sales goals.
  • Previous experience in sales, customer service, or related fields is a plus, but not required.

Preference will be give to candidate from local schools such as UVic and Camosun College in Victoria,
