Responsibilities include: (but not limited to)
* Greet and guide customers to their tables promptly.
* Provide exceptional customer service, assisting guests with their needs and addressing concerns quickly.
* Take and prepare food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently.
* Respond to menu and dietary questions with knowledge and care.
* Ensure all orders are accurate and delivered promptly.
* Prepare food, drinks, and cocktails as required, including promoting specials and upselling items.
* Monitor and replenish stock levels, informing the supervisor of frequently requested but unavailable items.
* Ensure balanced cash floats at the end of each shift.
* Clean and sanitize eating, service, and bar areas according to health and safety protocols
* Maintain cleanliness and organization in all working areas, including banquets.
* Assist in setting up, serving, and breaking down banquet events, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable experience for all guests.
* Willingness and ability to work in various areas of Manning Park Resort's F&B operations, including Pinewoods, Bears Den, Snack Window, and Banquets.
* Adapt to different roles and responsibilities as required to meet the needs of the resort and its guests.
*Other tasks as required within MPR
Job Requirements / Qualifications:
* Previous experience preferred.
* Must be 19 years of age or older (legal requirement to serve alcohol).
* Possess or willingness to acquire Serving It Right certification (legal requirement to serve alcohol).
* Organization and problem-solving skills
* Outgoing personality
* Knowledge of up-coming trends in the industry and food knowledge
* Knowledge of POS systems is an asset.
* Experience serving alcohol is an asset.
This is a year-round position with a start date in June.
