As Marketing Assistant, You Will

Assist the MHG Marketing and Sales teams and be the face of the company in promoting MHG products and services. The Marketing Assistant will represent MHG and its brands to targeted guests in order to create brand awareness, generate sales opportunities and build guest preference.  The Marketing Assistant will work a variety of shifts and events in order to promote all aspects of the MHG Brand including restaurants, hotels, PEI Brewing Company, and Whitecap Entertainment Events. 

• Have knowledge of MHG Brands, restaurants, hotels, PEIBC and Whitecap Entertainment
• Develop and maintain calendar of events and activation opportunities 
• Act as brand representative at various events, product samplings 
• Assist marketing team with day-to-day marketing tasks such as
  • Copywriting for newsletters, websites and advertising material
  • Organization and execution of marketing programs including research, tactical execution, collateral fulfillment, deliveries
  • Photo filing, sourcing and updates 
  • Data entry, note-taking, errands, compiling of information, transcribing 
• Assist social media team with 
  • Creating content for various platforms including Facebook, Instagram and TikTok 
  • Providing guest services across multiple platforms including Meta direct messages, Google and TripAdvisor 
  • Audience engagement as it relates to listening, monitoring, engaging fans and customers 
• Other administrative duties as required

Who You Are

• Minimum 2 years Guest Service experience
• Valid drivers license (must provide own transportation)
• Desire to meet new people
• Stand for long periods of time
