HVAC Service Technician

Job Description:

At Riverside Heating & Air Conditioning, Inc., the ideal candidate will have a strong background in HVAC system installation, maintenance, and repairs. This position requires excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to work independently. The primary responsibilities include performing routine maintenance, diagnosing system issues, completing repairs, assisting in new system replacements, and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct routine HVAC system maintenance to ensure optimal functionality and efficiency
• Diagnose malfunctioning systems and components to identify the root cause of the problem
• Perform necessary repairs or replacements of faulty parts, components, or entire systems
• Assist in new system replacements or upgrade existing ones as per customer requirements
• Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents or injuries
• Ensure excellent customer service by addressing customer queries and concerns
• Communicate effectively with customers to explain repair processes, costs, and recommendations
• Keep detailed records of all work performed and maintain inventory of necessary equipment and supplies
• Stay up to date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and regulations

Qualifications/requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 3+ years of proven experience as an HVAC Service Technician or related role
• Valid HVAC technician license or certification
• Hired candidates are required to undergo pre-employment drug screens, driving record check and background checks
• Strong technical and mechanical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and repair all types of equipment we service
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in confined spaces
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed
