Central Interior Native Health Society (CINHS) is a vibrant urban Indigenous Integrated Health Team Centre and educational facility situated on Lheidli T'enneh territory in Prince George, BC. The Clinic’s inter-disciplinary team provides trauma-informed and culturally safe, medical and psychosocial services to some of the most vulnerable members of our community.

 

The Physiotherapist provides treatment interventions formed from evidence-based practice, which by design help clients optimize their physical performance and increases their quality of life. This position fosters culture humility, ethical conduct, and teamwork.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

·         Ability to lead and collaborate independently in a multidisciplinary team, providing superior, trauma informed physiotherapy services through comprehensive assessments, treatment planning, program development, consultations, and client education, aimed at promoting optimal health and helping clients meet their goals

·         Strong skills in critical thinking, decision-making, analysis, communication and conflict resolution

·         Excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills across all levels of the organization, and with outside service providers and agencies

·         The Physiotherapist plays a pivotal role in advancing the organization and the profession's overall objectives, actively engaging in quality assurance, meetings, research, and educational programs including culture and language.

Qualifications

  • A Bachelors or Masters entry-to-practice degree in Physiotherapy
  • A member in good standing with the College of Physical Therapists of BC (CPTBC)
  • A member of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association (an asset)
  • Malpractice insurance
  • Valid BC Driver’s License
