Job Title: Freelance Interpreter (Berber-English) - In Person 

Language Requirements:  Berber and English fluency required

About Us: MasterWord is currently expanding its team of interpreters in the Kansas market for In Person Interpreting (IPI) services. We are seeking qualified individuals who are fluent in both Berber and English to join our freelance interpreter pool.

Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality interpretation services in person, ensuring effective communication between parties..
• Participate in the language professional onboarding process, including interviews, training, and language testing.
• Meet contract requirements within 72 hours of successful onboarding.

Requirements:

• Fluent in both Berber and English.
• Informal or professional interpretation experience is preferred.
• Successful completion of the language professional onboarding process, including interview, training, and language testing.
• Flexible hours during weekdays.
• Preferred, but not required: Experience in the healthcare industry (e.g., pharmacy tech/pharmacist, nursing home, hospital, hospice, patient tech, practicum hours as part of a nursing program, pharmaceutical rep, CNA, LVN, RN, volunteering at a hospital, etc.).
