Front Desk Agent and Night Audit (flex position)

We are presently looking for our next great team member as a Front Desk Agent and Night Audit to join our Accommodations team. This role will be 3 evening shifts as Front Desk Agent and 2 night shifts as Night Audit. If you can provide our guests with an amazing experience, combined with working as an energetic part of our resort, we want to hear from you!

This is a year-round position with an immediate start.

Front Desk Responsibilities include (but not limited to):

* Welcome, check-in, check-out, and assist guests.

* Handle incoming / outgoing calls on switchboard in a timely manner.

* Handle reservations: answer guest inquiries in person, by phone and email in a timely manner; take information for reservations or wait lists

* Maintain guest accounts.

* Provide correct information on the resort facilities, Alpine and Nordic skiing, campgrounds, boathouse, and surrounding areas, room rates, cancellation policy and packages.

* Interact in a friendly, courteous manner with guests and staff at all times.

* Relay messages for guests and for staff in a timely manner.

* Maintain communications with other workers within multiple departments

* Maintain security of building.

* Follow the Standard Operating Procedures in place

* Be familiar with all fire, safety, and emergency procedures.

* Record maintenance problems, incident reports and handover sheets for any incidents or problems that have come up that others should be aware of.

* Maintain cleanliness of front office, back office, and kitchen area.

* Support the accounting department with balancing cash floats.

Night Audit Responsibilities include (but not limited to):

* Welcome, check-in, check-out, and assist guests

* Respond to guest inquiries in person, by phone, and email

* Monitor building security and communicate hourly with other night shift workers

* Perform system rollovers, reset front desk for the following day

* Record night activity, update trail/condition reports

* Support accounting with cash handling and reconciliations

* Maintain cleanliness of front and back office areas

Job Requirements/Qualifications:

* Strong customer service skills.

* Responsible and self-motivated 

* Ability to assess and prioritize necessary duties.

* Ability to work both as an individual and team player.

* Possess or willing to obtain a valid First Aid Certification.

* Previous experience with reservations software is an asset.

* Knowledge of the park and surrounding area (or intent to learn).
