We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our finance team and work on-site at the resort. Reporting to the Accounting Manager, this role plays an important part in supporting daily accounting operations while contributing to the overall success of a vibrant, multi-department resort.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Reconcile daily transactions from POS systems and payment platforms
• Ensure all revenue streams are accurately recorded and balanced
• Perform General Ledger reconciliations using QuickBooks Online
• Prepare and post journal entries and assist with month-end close
• Manage Accounts Receivable including invoicing and follow-up
• Process Accounts Payable with accurate coding and timely payments
• Perform bank and cash reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly financial and tip reports
• Maintain accuracy of accounting records and chart of accounts
• Support audits and ensure compliance with accounting procedures

WHAT YOU BRING

• 1 year of accounting experience (hospitality experience an asset)
• Strong working knowledge of QuickBooks Online
• Experience with POS systems such as Silverware, Clover, Paradox, or similar
• Understanding of General Ledger reconciliations
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently in a dynamic environment
