Accounting Clerk
SALARY: $55,000 – $60,000 annually
LOCATION: Manning Park Resort, BC (On-site, staff housing available)

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our finance team and work on-site at the resort. Reporting to the Accounting Manager, this role plays an important part in supporting daily accounting operations while contributing to the overall success of a vibrant, multi-department resort.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Reconcile daily transactions from POS systems and payment platforms
- Ensure all revenue streams are accurately recorded and balanced
- Perform General Ledger reconciliations using QuickBooks Online
- Prepare and post journal entries and assist with month-end close
- Manage Accounts Receivable including invoicing and follow-up
- Process Accounts Payable with accurate coding and timely payments
- Perform bank and cash reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly financial and tip reports
- Maintain accuracy of accounting records and chart of accounts
- Support audits and ensure compliance with accounting procedures
WHAT YOU BRING
- 1 year of accounting experience (hospitality experience an asset)
- Strong working knowledge of QuickBooks Online
- Experience with POS systems such as Silverware, Clover, Paradox, or similar
- Understanding of General Ledger reconciliations
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently in a dynamic environment
