Laboratory Technician

Lazarus Services is a CLIA certified clinical diagnostics laboratory located in New Orleans, Louisiana. We perform toxicology screening and confirmation using state of the art techniques such as LC-MS/MS and Automated Immunoassay via Beckman AU 680. We are looking for a Laboratory Technician to perform LCMS operations and data review within Drug Confirmation analytical testing and Immunoassay.

Job Description:

• Review and release of data, monitoring and assessing QC results

• Entering and reporting patient results within the LIS

• Data Entry and Medication reconciliation.

• Troubleshooting LC-MS/MS operation

• Sample preparation for LCMS/MS

• Complying with and maintaining laboratory SOPs and other laboratory duties as designated by direct supervisor.

Required Skills:

Qualified candidates will possess at minimum a Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry or related field.

Must pass a drug screen and criminal background

Proven organizational and time management skills

Prior experience in a clinical laboratory is plus

Knowledge and experience in PCR are preferred, but not required.

Salary: $28.00 to $35.00 /hour
