Job Duties:
- Work as part of a team to plan, carry out, and evaluate developmentally appropriate activities for children.

Supervise and ensure children’s safety while engaging in indoor/outdoor, active/quiet, and individual/group activities.

Communicate regularly with families about children’s growth, progress, and program participation.

Develop individualized/group curriculum based on children’s abilities, interests, and needs; coordinate with specialists as needed.

Attend to children’s physical needs (diapering, toileting, eating, sleep) and implement care plans collaboratively.

Maintain accurate documentation and reports, including progress, behaviours, and required licensing logs.
Qualifications:
- Approved ECE or ECE-IT Certification through the Early Childhood Registry of B.C
- Valid First Aid/CPR certificate approved by Community Care Facilities Licensing
- Previous work experience in a similar environment is preferred experience in assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of programs, and activities
- Experience working in a Community Care Licensed facility
- Must be legally entitled to work in Canada
