About the Department
The Sales Department is the core driver of Polaron’s growth, with leadership responsible for scaling revenue, building high-performing teams, and executing on clear performance targets.

Sales Managers oversee day-to-day operations, pipeline health, and team output, while also focusing on coaching, performance management, and strategic planning. This is a highly accountable environment where leaders are expected to drive results, identify opportunities for improvement, and build a culture of ownership and high performance.

About the Role
As a Sales Manager, you will lead a high-performing team responsible for driving revenue growth and delivering exceptional customer experiences within one of our divisions. You will oversee the full sales lifecycle, from initial client engagement to closing and post-sale coordination, while ensuring alignment with company targets and operational capacity.

This role requires a strong balance of leadership, sales execution, and strategic oversight. You will be responsible for coaching and developing team members, optimizing sales processes, and maintaining a consistent focus on performance, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Client Engagement & Consultation
    Oversee and support client consultations conducted in-home, by phone, or virtually. Ensure accurate assessment of customer needs and the delivery of tailored, energy-efficient solutions.

  • Product Knowledge & Team Development
    Maintain comprehensive knowledge of all company offerings, including various systems, smart thermostats, insulation, and air quality solutions. Coach and develop team members to effectively communicate product value and technical details.

  • Site Evaluations & Quality Assurance
    Provide guidance and oversight on site evaluations to ensure accurate assessment of existing systems, home layouts, and energy usage, while maintaining quality and consistency in recommendations.

  • Sales Presentations & Deal Execution
    Support the development and delivery of sales proposals, ensuring accuracy in pricing and positioning of financing options. Oversee clear communication of rebates, incentives, warranties, and installation processes, while driving improved close rates.

  • Lead Generation & Pipeline Management
    Drive and monitor lead generation efforts across multiple channels. Maintain visibility into pipeline health, enforce timely follow-ups, and implement strategies to improve conversion and overall sales performance.

  • Sales Documentation & CRM Compliance
    Ensure all sales documentation, agreements, and CRM entries are completed accurately and promptly, in line with company standards and regulatory requirements.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration
    Collaborate closely with internal teams including installation, customer service, and financing to ensure a seamless end-to-end customer experience. Act as a point of escalation where needed.

  • Compliance & Professional Standards
    Uphold and enforce company policies, industry regulations, and professional standards across the team, ensuring a consistent and customer-focused approach.

  • Performance Management & Reporting
    Manage team performance against established targets. Track key metrics, provide regular reporting and forecasts, and coach team members to meet and exceed expectations.
