Plan A New Brunswick is a long-term care (LTC) staffing strategy that provides a local solution for LTC homes experiencing staffing shortages. Plan A New Brunswick is currently looking for Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our qualified, dedicated, and compassionate team of support staff.

Responsibilities
- Ensure that residents are being taken care of according to their needs and following their care plan.
- Can assist person(s) with activities of daily living such as feeding, lifts and transfers, bathing, skin care, oral hygiene, and toileting.
- Can perform light housekeeping duties such as sweeping and mopping floors, vacuuming, washing dishes, and laundry.
- Must continuously observe person(s) and their environments, and must report and document unsafe conditions and behavioral, physical, and / or cognitive changes to an appropriate supervisor; i.e. family member, employer, care coordinator etc.
- Must communicate and demonstrate basic information to person(s) in relation to activities of daily living, light housekeeping, meal planning and preparation, in accordance with pre-established Plan of Care.
- Must complete and maintain related records and documentation such as communication books and progress notes.
- Observe and report on symptoms and overall conditions of residents to RPN.
Documents required
- Diploma/Certificate (no transcripts allowed) Nursing Students must have completed the first year of their program and be currently enrolled for the fall semester.
- CPR- current A or C CPR certification
- Covid-19 Vaccination- Proof of 1st & 2nd dose. (Boosters not required)
- Flu shot- Current from this season
- Criminal Record Check- conducted within 1 year before the staff member is hired from Police Department only. (3rd party agencies are not acceptable)
- Medical Physical Exam ( Document will be provided)
- All other online training will be provided and paid!
