Electrical Drafter/Designer

• Produce detailed electrical design documents with engineers, project managers and others, before and throughout construction

• Create plans, drawings and specifications that meet Gerrits design principles, client requirements and relevant codes and standards

• Take direction from the Design Manager and/or Engineer, and help the team meet project milestones

• Perform engineering calculations

• Complete site visits independently or with team members

• Post-secondary education in Engineering Technology

• 2-4 years of experience in a drafting or design role

• Experience with AutoCAD, Revit, AGi32, ETAP, and Microsoft Suite

• Understanding of relevant industry codes and standards and municipal by-laws

• Experience and exposure to building systems, power distribution, lighting, and fire alarms

• Work alongside Professional Engineers, Engineering Interns, Designers and Drafters

• 37.5-hour work week and a hybrid work arrangement
